Freshwater emergent marsh with low, deciduous forest on higher ground.

Description
Tree 13 m tall, the trunk 36 cm diam; bark grey/black, rough, short furrowed, somewhat like a cross between Cornus florida and Liquidambar, the younger bark light grey, smooth; flowers yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
