Description
Tree 5 m. tall, bark pale. Inflorescence sometimes unbranched. Calyx pale green, 5-lobed; corolla salmon-pink; filaments, staminodes, and style white. Fruit green. Flowers odorless, oriented in space with the single petal flanked by stamens in upper position and others in lower positions. [Photos, pickled flowers and one young fruit, chemical voucher.].
