  • Description

    Pileus 5 cm broad, hemispherical, dry, pale red to pale pink with flattened felt-like ochraceous patches on disc, finely matted fibrillose toward margin, with sterile marginal veil covering tubes, this veil whitish and lacking any scales. Flesh pale yellow, immediately cyanescent. tubes barely adnexed, bright yellow and immediately cyanescent with pores likewise. Stipe 11.5 cm x 1.5 cm, equal and curved with a slightly broader base, dry, white to slightly glaucescent and appressed fibrillose, staining brown to orangish brown, with interior whitish to pale yellowish to glaucescent above, whitish below and staining pale brownish in the base. Spores finely ribbed, lacking cross-striae.
