Habitat
mixed dipterocarp forest on steep slopes; Koompassia excelsa frequent.

Description
Tree 9 m x 8 cm diam, branching from 6 m, outer bark brown, some hoop marks and sparse raised lenticels. Leaves to 96 cm long, 6--9-jugate. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
