    Palustrine System. Forested Minearl Soil Wetlands-- Red maple-hardwood swamp.

    Shrub 1.5 m tall, the stems 2, ca 1 cm diam, greenish; leaves bronze and green, the abaxials light green; inflorescence at about the same level as the leaves; flowers white. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
