Bosuqe caducifolio. Steep slopes with Liquidambar macrophylla, Gunnera killipiana, Alnus acuminata ssp. arguta, Hedysomum mexicanum and giant Ulmus mexicana, Platanus mexicana.

Shrub 2 m tall. Leaves shiny above. Petals white; anthers yellow.
