    Tree 15m tall, main trunks 3 from the base, the largest ca 40 cm diam; bark grey, rough, scaly, the plates 2-3 cm wide; leaf abaxials subglaucous. The leaves on specimens typical for whole tree which is growing in full sun. NYBG accession number: "02674 L, Acer saccharum, PT, New York Bot. Gard". Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
