Habitat
Riverside vegetation, river only 8-10 m wide in most places, canopy occasionally closed over it. Rare.

Description
Tree. Tree 7 m x 12.5 cm, flowers fleshy, entirely dull cream except anthers yellow. Outer bark dark brown, finely fissured, shed in small thin irregular plates. Inner bark pale red-and-whitish striate, sapwood whitish. No obvious exudate. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
