Tree 12 m tall, the trunk 32 cm diam; bark grey, scaly or shaggy, the scales only moderately lifting ca 15 cm, long, vertical, ca 2-3 cm wide, smooth; crushed leaves aromatic. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
