Larrea tridentata - Ambrosia dumosa - Ephedra community on volcanic rubble flats (rock cover on surface 70-90%) with Bromus rubens, Vulpia octoflora, Schismus, Atriplex hymenelytra, Atriplex confertifolia. Vegetative cover ca. 35-50%.
