  • Habitat

    North-facing slope of pale limestone and gypsiferous clay soil with 80-95% cover of biological soil crust. Community of scattered Larrea tridentata, Psorothamnus fremontii, Ephedra nevadensis, and Hymenoclea salsola. Understory of Eriogonum inflatum, Malcolmia africana, and Phacelia pulchella. Soil derived from harrisburg Memner of Kaibab Limestone.
