    Moist deciduous forest on north-facing, steep, rocky slope above creek.

  • Description

    Tree 4 m tall, the trunk 2.5 cm diam; bark smooth, grey; leaves all over tree grey/green. This is the last species of Populus to leaf out; Populus deltoides and Populus tremuloides already fully leafed out.
