Habitat
Deciduous woods of mostly native species on rocky, north-facing slope.

Description
Shrub 1 m tall; stem ca 3 cm diam; bark brown, rough, but not furrowed; no flowers observed. It is not clear whether this was planted or spontaneous. It is well within the Forest proper and there are no other cultivated species here.
