    Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Version 2012. Georeferenced to 3.5 km east of the approximate geographic center of the airport of San Carlos de Río Negro in Mun. Río Negro, Amazonas, Venezuela. Using Google Maps - Satellite View, located the airport of San Carlos de Río Negro. Used the Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to find the total extent of the airport campus then halved this distance to approximate the location of the midpoint of the airport. Measured to approximately this halved distance from one extreme of the airport toward the center; used Canadensys Lat/Long Crosshairs to find the coordinates of the geographic center. Used the Distance Measurement Tool (Google Maps) to find the linear extent of the airport by measuring from the selected coordinates to the farthest extent of the airport campus. To find the offset, input coordinates (1.9211396, -67.0562419), linear extent (.745269 km), offset direction (E), offset distance (3.5 km), measurement error (0.0005 km), and distance precision (1 km) into the MaNIS Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide (according to Georeferencing Quick Reference Guide, Offset: Offset at a heading).
