Freshwater marsh dominated by Salix.

Description
Tree or shrub 5 m tall, the stems numerous, the largest ca 20 cm diam, procumbent; bark spreading fissured, just becoming furrowed, the fissures narrow, rough. This species forming a dense mass tens of meters in diameter here. The stems seem to die off eventually, thus apparently keeping the trees an even height under 5 m. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
