Forest of Pinus occidentalis. Growing with Mecranium acuminatum, Clidemia umbellata, Clidemia hirta. Occasional.

Description
Small tree to 3.5 m tall; petals white, style white, anthers and filaments yellow, and positioned zygomorphically in flower. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
