IXvarf-to-raidtall-scrub Bavanna of "cerrado" vegetation.
(Trees over 3 a tall only ca.,2 per hectare.) Ground layer
grassy, not grazed, with "clean" aspect due to sparsity of
the usual tall herbs and dwarf shrubs of a cerrado ground
layer. All shrubs (incl. those below 1/2 m tall) spaced 1-3 m
apart; shrubs over 1 m tall spaced 2-4 n apart.
Deep latosol without pebbles, brovmish-red at surface, subsoil
bright brick-red.
This nCs shrub 1 3/2 n tall.
