Cloud forest with Podocarpus, Miconia, Hedyosmum, Cephaelis, Palicourea, Mecranium, Cyrilla, Meriania, Alsophila, and Gleichenia.

Description
Shrub ca. 3 m tall with brown-gray bark. Plant mostly with flower buds, but petals on old flowers white, reflexed, tinged pinkish basally. Stamens white. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
