Habitat
Cultivated here are Artocarpus atilis (breadfruit), Tagetes patula (called sampual and planted at graves), Crescentia cujete, Guava, Coffea, malee apple, banana, mango, golden plum.

Description
Tree 8-10m tall; fruit 5 cm long by 4 cm wide, turning from whitish to red, said to be fully red when mature. Called locally "malee apple" which is a corruption of "Malay apple". The fruit are eaten out of hand, and used to make wine. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
