    Dry to moist forest. With Ficus, Clusia, Cyathea, Miconia, Thrinax, Clidemia, Tetrazygia, Phyllanthus, Charianthus, Oreopanax, Blakea, Lisianthius, and Heterotrichum. Common. On limestone.

    Large shrub ca. 5 m tall. Flowers with petals, stamens, and style white, often tinged with pink in center. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
