Guyana. N-W facing slopes of Mt. Roraima, vincinity of Camp 6 (near the end of the Waruma Trail). c. 1m. N of the "prowl".

Habitat
Montane rain forest, w/some canopy openings; canopy 50-80ft; many small trees & shrubs below, including palms & tree ferns. Moderately dense ground layer incl. many ferns. Epiphytes common, incl. Anthurium rorairense, Philodendron, & bryophyte cover to 6" thick. Soil a humus-rich sand, over parent sandstone rock 4-6 " down.

Description
Seemingly the commonest medium-sized tree fern about the camp site. [See label for further plant description.]. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
