Costa Rica. Puntarenas. Upper Aguabuena, 4.5 km of Rincon. Hilly terrain on slope of 500 m high ridge. Recently cleared pasture on farm of Marvin Barantes.

Description
Tree 6 m x 10 cm. Flowers white, fragrant; said to be even more fragrant in the evening. Fruits and expanded calyx light green. Flowering also observed May 26; June 1 all flowers had fallen. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
