BOSQUE DE PINOS--ENCINOS. Slopes on edge' of huge
canyon, with Quercus, Clethra, Alnus acuminata ssp.
arguta , A. jorullensis and approaching the lower limit
of Pinus patula as a common tree.
Along rocky bank of stream, to 1.5 m. tall; rhizomes
look like underground stems that are rooting.
