Cuba. Matanzas. Ciénaga de Zapata Mun. Along road from Jagüey Grande to Boca de la Lagana. South of Jagüey Grande and the Estación de Ictiofauna.

Habitat

Cladium marsh and adjacent roadside vegetation.

Description

Large clumps along edge of marsh, to 2.5 m tall; spikelets ferrugineous; older culms becoming viviparous at nodes below old inflorescences.
