Vacant lot with ca 20 Ulmus pumila trees of various ages, the largest and oldest to 15 m tall and 120 cm diam.

Description
Tree 10-12 m tall, the trunk 55 cm diam; bark with short, deep furrows, reddish basally, the ridges braided, rough, scaly, turning black, somewhat corky; main branches several, no one particularly dominant, arising from lower 1/3 of tree height, erect to ascending, then bending outward at top of tree, lateral branches ascending, then pendulous; flower bud scales reddish brown; filaments white, the anthers blackish/purple. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
