Full sun, muddy slough, fresh water intertidal, with Impatiens capensis (common), Salix sitchensis, Lythrum salicaria, Sagittaria latifolia. Occasional.

Succulent annual, nodding yellow-orange flowers, spots dark orange, no spur; fruit opos, seed 5.2-6.3 x 2.5-3.2 mm. wide. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
