High restinga forest and marginal vegetation bordering grassy open area on damp white sand.

Description
Shrub to 1m. Leaves coriaceous, yellow-green above, paler beneath. Fruit scarlet with darker longitudinal streaks. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
