Habitat
Common in secondary woodlands, along stream banks, in sandy-loam soils, among rocky outcrops.

Description
Plants 10-20-30 feet tall. Stem color ext: gray; color int:white. Mature leaves very large, lobes exceeding 10 in. Upper leaves gradually smaller. Flowers: male ca. 1cm long, apex of tepals 7.5 Y 9/8* (brilliant greenish yellow), base 5 GY 8/8* (brilliant yellow green), with darker spots in sinus of lobes. Disc of female fls. 2.5 Y 9/9* (brilliant yellow).
