    United States of America. Nevada. Nye Co. Just west of Lincoln Co. line, west side of Penoyer Valley in south foothills of Quinn Canyon Range, 5.3 miles east of Rte. 25 on road that leaves Rte.25, 7 miles north of Queen City Summit; about 1/4 mile east of summit of road.

  • Habitat

    Rolling country near low pass through hills. With Artemisia, Ephedra, Chrysothamnus. Common. Very white substrate derived from soft white rock, sandy to gravelly.

  • Description

    Perennial subshrub; deep rooted but no rhizomatous connections found; often growing under bushes & up through them; those in open very small. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
