    Herbage mephitic; corolla bright bluish-purple. Note by Cronquist: "Seeds 4, brown, with paler differentiated margins, 3.5 mm long, alveolate, deeply excavated on both sides of the ventral ridge, the ridge and the margins evidently corrugated". Phenology of specimen: Flower.
