Flowers dark blue-purple. plants mildly mephitic. Note by Cronquist: "Seeds 3.2-3.3 mm long, alveolate-pitted, dark brown, with paler, differentiated corrugated margins, the ventral ridge also corrugated along one side". Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
