upland pine (Pinus) - oak (Quercus) foress intermixed among extensive maple (Acer rubrum) swamps, Atlantic white cedar (Chamaecyparis thyoides) swamps, and abandoned cranberry bogs. on the bark of fallen pine (Pinus rigida).
