steep slope with outcropping limestone; semideciduous moist forest; prominent species at this site: Amyris sp, Plumeria sp, Comocladia sp, Bursera simaruba, Manilkara sp, Clusia sp, Metopium browneii, Celtis sp, Anthurium schlechtendalianum, Selaginella sp, Adiantum tenerum, Anemia adiantifolia, Gausia maya, Vitex gaumeri, Pedilanthus tithymiloides.

Description
Shrubs or trees to 10 m tall; stems usu several from the base, maximum ca 5 cm radius near the base; bark light brown, spongy with vertical fissures; leaves very numerous, odor when crushed indistinct or grass-like, not spicy or citrus-like.
