Description
Tree 20 m tall, the trunk ca 1.1 m diam; older bark furrowed, the ridges ca 2 cm wide, scaly; younger bark smoother, the ridges wider and flatter. Native species, planted (said to be planted in 1905 with other trees as nursery for planting throughout the grounds and as western perimeter (fide Wayne Cahilly).
