Description
Tree 15 m tall, the trunk 28 cm diam; bark grey, very thick, the furrows broadly "V" shaped, the ridges ca 3 cm high and 3 cm wide (similar to Populus deltoides); petioles yellow/green; leaf blade abaxials glaucous; acorns bright yellow/green, turning brown.
