United States of America. Wyoming. Big Horn Co. Worland District, Big Horn Basin, Big Horn Mountains. Cold Spring Road about 0.5 mi. south of Courthouse Rock.

Habitat
Juniper zone. Juniperus osteosperma with abundant mountain-mahogany (Cercocarpus ledifolius). Grasses and forbs sparse. Aristida fendleriana, Agropyron spicatum, Poa secunda, Stipa comata, Lomatium, Cryptantha celosioides, Gutierrezia sarothrae (broom snakeweed), Phlox hoodii, and Lappula redowskii with some shrubs: Artemisia tridentata and Chrysothamnus nauseosus. Much bare sandstone rock; soil is shallow.
