Red shaly rock mesic canyon. With Populus, Rhamnus betulaefolia var. obovata, Shepherdia rotundifolia, Pinus edulis, Amelanchier, Ephedra, Opuntia, Arctostaphylos patula, Penstemon rostriflorus, Salix exigua, Solidago, Juncus, Typha domingensis, Rhus trilobata, Opuntia polyacantha erinacea, O. phaeacantha, Oenothera longissima, Clematis ligusticifolia, Quercus gambelii, Fraxinus anomala, Pachystima. Common tree here.
