    Rhizomatous perennial up to 1 m tall. Corollas light violet or white; anthers yellow. Plants strongly andromonoecious, 1 fruit per inflorescence. Fruits still green, moderately pubescent. Visited (8 AM) by Bombus and other buzzing bees, including a metallic blue one. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
