Location
Bolivia. Santa Cruz. Florida Prov. 2.5 km on dirt road off and north from the Samaipata to Mairana highway, the turnoff just below the highest point and on the Mairana side, 7 km (by air) SE of Mairana.

Habitat
Ridgetop and slopes, heavily grazed. At edge of area burned about 1 or 2 years ago. Dominated by Baccharis (see no. 47706 and 47708), Dodonaea viscosa, Acacia aroma but essentially no lower cloud forest elements.

Description
Much-branched shrub 1.2 m tall. All foliage and young growth yellowish-ferrugineous. Flowers wilted (12:45 P.M., mostly sunny day). Fruit yellow-green with darker mottling. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
