Cloud forest with tree ferns.

Description
Shrub, the base 10 cm. in diameter, the upright branches slender, to 3.5 m. tall and 4 cm. in diameter. Few flowers present; earlier buds white; corolla then light violet, campanulate, with deep purple zone at base within. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
