    tree, 25-30 m. tall. Tree 25-30 m tall, the conical crown tapering to a very narrow apex; needles glaucous below; cones produced exclusively at very apex of tree, erect, dark purple. Specimen consists of cones and dense branches taken from apex of tree and lax, sterile branches from basal branches. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
