    Shady riparian area in deep narrow canyon running S-N. Soft pumice alluvium with bishop tuff rhyolite outcrops and ridges above. Populus tremuloides/Pinus contorta woodland with occasional P. jeffryi, Rosa woodsii, Thalyctrum sparsiflorum, Senecio triangularis, Arnica, Sphenosciadium, Ribes. Common streamside.
