Habitat
Coarse loamy sand, 50% slope, 210° aspect. Associated with Chrysothamnus nauseous var. hololeucus, Purshia tridentata and Stipa comata. 500 individuals collected over 40 acrea area.

Description
Most were only starting to flower. The majority of plants have lost their corollas. Plants were wilted prior to collecting. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
