    Upland forest on rolling terrain deeply dissected by many narrow streams. Recently disturbed by logging. Only modest presence of Guadua bamboo and palms (the latter prevalent in low-lying areas). Occasional.

    Tree. Felled tree, 63 cm diam, fruits immature, pendent. Bole height 19 m. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
