    7°W-facing slope of soft pumice gravel. Heavily disturbed area with recently felled small Pinus jeffryi all around. Open Pinus jeffryi woodland with understory of Artemisia tridentata, Purshia tridentata, Symphoricarpos rotundifolia, Ribes cereum, Stipa sp. Common, scattered in open sandy areas.
