    Flowers in June after fall of leaves shortly before. Stem 3 [] thick; branches wide-spreading,brittle; 5 large glands dark dull green; ovary, style, stigma greenish when young but with age soon progressively red; male flower white; anthers and pollen yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
