Tree 18-20 m tall, the trunk ca 80 cm diam; bark rough but
not particularly scaly, grey and black, particularly black at
base of tree; leaf blades ± flat (only somewhat drooping), the
adaxials dark green, the abaxials lighter. This tree may have
been planted.
