    Tree 25-30 m tall, the trunk 38 cm dhb, the bark grey-brown, thick, the furrows long, vertical, deep, dark, "V" shaped, the ridges somewhat flat and rough, but not scaly; leaves pale green above, with reddish tint, grey below; fruits green, some now dehiscent.
