  • Description

    Culms ca. 12 m tall, 3-4" diam., the new culms stried with narrow bands on the lower internodes. Culms evenly spaced and spreading over large area. New culm sheaths with broad light green blade, more or less clasping and held out at 45° angle. Sheaths soon turn brown and deciduous. Underside of blades bluish-green. Oral setae prominent on young leaves, lacking on others. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
