  • Description

    Long-lived perennials; caudex branches thick, covered by marcescent leaf bases; leaves lanose with fine dendritic trichomes; flowering stems pubescent; petals lavender, to 9 mm long; pollen somewhat irregular, the well-formed grains averaging 26.6µ; fruiting pedicels ± perpendicular to rachises. Phenology of specimen: Flower and Fruit.
